We don’t see this issue come up often so wanted to post it on our blog.

This week OSHA found a construction business owner in contempt of court for failing to pay $412,000 in OSHA fines.

In addition to these serious legal problems, the business owner and company are facing an embarrassing PR nightmare since OSHA has distributed this press release nationally, which will surely get re-published my other media outlets online, and in print for everyone, including customers, competitors and potential employees to see.

Bottom line, if you get fined by OSHA you’ll need to pay or face the consequences.
