For over 30 years, I’ve worked in the manufacturing and industrial services sectors, witnessing firsthand how Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance can either protect a business—or put it at serious risk. I’ve also seen the costly consequences when compliance falls short: serious injuries, environmental harm, and regulatory actions that can derail even the strongest operations.

My career began in hazardous materials sales and evolved into entrepreneurship, where I founded and managed several contracting businesses with significant EHS exposure. That experience gave me a deep understanding of how difficult it is for small business owners to develop and manage effective safety and environmental programs while balancing production demands and profitability. I lived those challenges personally, which drives my mission today—to make EHS compliance practical, sustainable, and a long-term business asset.

That mission led me to found — Berg Environmental Services, Berg Compliance Solutions, Texas Steel Fabrication Safety Consulting, and Texas General Contractor Safety Consulting—each dedicated to helping small and mid-sized companies build, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs that work in the real world.

We provide the systems, expertise, and ongoing partnership needed to help companies achieve and maintain OSHA, EPA, and TCEQ compliance. Beyond meeting regulatory requirements, we help organizations turn safety from a cost center into a strategic advantage that drives productivity, strengthens workforce engagement, and builds long-term resilience. Once the foundation is established, we stay engaged as a long-term compliance partner—helping clients adapt to regulatory changes, strengthen their safety culture, and continually improve performance.

How We Help:

– Achieve and maintain full OSHA, EPA, and TCEQ compliance

  • Reduce risk, liability, and costly disruptions
  • Build workforce engagement and a culture of safety excellence
  • Turn compliance into a driver of performance and operational strength
